Want to help students by donating items to food pantry and career closet? We appreciate any help you can give!

You can take food donations to the Heart of BCTC pantry and closet located on the Leestown Campus, A Building, room 203 during operating hours.

Food Pantry Donation Guidelines

  • Only donate plastic bottles, no glass bottles
  • Within expiration date and unopened items
  • Individually wrapped items for hygiene products

Career Closet Donations

Donation Guidelines

We suggest that donated clothing items are laundered and on clothing hangers. Please contact BL-CareerDevelopment@kctcs.edu regarding clothing donations.

Accepted Career Clothing Donations

Donations are accepted on an as-needed basis (dependent on current inventory and storage space availability).

Suits (pants or skirts)/Trousers/Skirts Blouses/tops Shoes
  • In season
  • No rips, tears, or stains
  • No buttons missing
  • No loud or garish prints
  • Knee length or lower for skirts
  • Preferably white or solid colors
  • No revealing necklines
  • No garish colors or prints
  • Sleeves or sleeveless (to wear under a suit or blazer)
  • No perspiration stains
  • Button-down collared shirt
    • Preferably white or solid colors
    • No garish colors or prints
    • No perspiration stains

We only accept new or gently worn shoes

  • Solid color pumps
  • Sensible heel (no stilettos or oversized platforms)
  • Closed toe and heel
  • Flats with soles (no ballet flats)
  • Loafers or other dress shoes in black or brown
