As a student at Bluegrass Community & Technical College, you will need to be familiar with accessing your academic records, email, and coursework online.
All of these can be accessed online from our homepage.
Note: Steps 1 & 2 can be completed after you are admitted to BCTC.
- Using Mozilla Firefox (Internet Browser), open our homepage.
- At the top-left corner of the page, click "Current Students"
- Click on "User Account Center"
- Click "Setup User Profile"
- Select the appropriate "Birth Month, Day, and "KCTCS ID" number (this may be called your Peoplesoft ID#) then click "Next"
- Enter your temporary passcode. This will have been sent to the email address you listed on your application.
- Complete the "Question/Answer" fields and click "Next"
- Your "Username", (i.e. JSmith0012), will be provided to you. Write this down!
- Create a password and confirm.
Your password must be 12 characters in length, contain at least one number, a symbol, and an uppercase letter. - If your password was created correctly you will receive the message "Your password has been successfully set!!!"

- At the top-left corner of the page, click "Current Students"
- Click on "Student Self Service"
- Click on "Login Here"
- Enter your username and password from Step 1
Your Email account will be active 24 hours after completing your Registration
