Important Billing Information
Notice: Bills are no longer mailed. Billing information is communicated via email and PeopleSoft Self Service at: https://students.kctcs.edu. Though BCTC has payment deadlines (see BCTC Academic Calendar, tuition and fees are considered due at the time of enrollment.
You can pay with your KCTCS Debit Card, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, or by check (e-check) at our secure Self Service web address. For best results, please use Edge or Firefox browser.
How to make an online payment
- From BCTC Home Page, Select 'MyPath' then Student Self-service, click on the Fin. Aid & Account Balance tile
- From the menu on the left, click Make a Payment
- Select the Payment Method from the drop-down list.
Then click the Confirm button
Students will then be directed to third party (Nelnet Campus Commerce) page to complete making a payment.
- Click on 'Make a Payment' Button
- Student can add a family member as an authorized party to make a payment on their
behalf.
Click on 'Add an Authorized Party' and add the information asked. Individual will be sent a link via email directing them to the Nelnet site to make a payment for tuition balance.

- Click the appropriate check box for the term you wish to make a payment for.
(Note: - once checked amount in the 'payment amount' box will be auto filled, with current outstanding balance. - Confirm 'Payment Amount' displayed and then Click 'Next-Payment Method' Button.
In this example, a credit card payment will be selected.
Note: Follow the Steps on the screen. Each Step must be completed before proceeding to the next.
- Select 'Credit/debit card' option and follow the steps to enter the credit/debit card detail. (Card Number, Account Holder Name,
Expiration Date, Billing Address.)

- The Payment Summary will be displayed. If the information is accurate, Click 'Pay $ XXX.XX
Now' Button. - A 'Thank you' page will display with the summary of payment. This is an official payment receipt. Review and print the receipt for personal record. Then 'Click Proceed to Home' Button.
(Once payment is processed, receipt is automatically emailed to student’s KCTCS email address. Students have the ability to print an additional copy of receipt by clicking on 'Print' Button at the top right side of the receipt page.) - Any questions regarding Nelnet payment, please contact Nelnet at 1-800-609-8056.

1. Disable Pop-Up Blockers.
2. From the Student Homepage, Click on the 'Fin Aid & Account Balance' tile.
3. From the menu on the left, Click on Make a Payment
4. From the drop-down menu, select "Set up Official Payment Plan"
5. Click Confirm (Ensure Pop-up Blockers are disabled)
6. From this point, you will Create an Account with NBS. The payment plan is not complete until the student reads and accepts the terms & conditions, clicks the Authorize button, and receives a confirmation.
If you’re having trouble with your online payment, try these tips:
- Clear your cache, close your browser, and reopen.
- See below for 'Clearing Cache Instructions'.
- Make sure to directly access your Student Account.
- Disable popup blockers and cookies. Learn how through The Learning Center:
- Login to The Learning Center.
- In the “Training Topics” dropdown menu, select “PeopleSoft Campus Solutions”.
- Then search for “Popup Blocker Instructions” in the search bar.
- Click on the Popup Blocker Instructions document.

Clearing Cache Instructions
Odd errors can sometimes occur when using PeopleSoft. These errors may be due to an internet browser cache issue. Use the following instructions to clear the cache.
Mobile Browsers
Android
The steps to clear your cache, cookies, and history may differ depending on the model of your Android device and your preferred browser. However, you should be able to clear your cache and data from your application management settings menu:
- Go to Settings and choose Apps and then tap Application Manager.
- Select All apps.
- In the list of installed apps, find and tap your web browser. Tap Storage or Clear Data and then Clear Cache.
- Exit/quit all browser windows and re-open the browser.
Chrome for Android
- Touch Chrome menu > Settings.
- Touch (Advanced) Privacy.
- Touch Clear browsing data.
- Exit/quit all browser windows and re-open the browser.
Safari (Apple iOS)
- Open your Settings app.
- Tap Safari.
- Tap Advanced.
- Tap Website Data and Remove all Website Data.
- Confirm Action.
- Exit/quit all browser windows and re-open the browser.
Chrome for iOS
- Touch Chrome menu > Settings.
- Touch Privacy.
- Choose the data type you want to clear (cookies and site data are recommended).
- Touch Clear Browsing Data.
- Confirm action.
- Exit/quit all browser windows and re-open the browser.
DESKTOP BROWSERS
Chrome
- In the browser bar, enter: chrome://settings/clearBrowserData. An alternate way to access the cache is to click the Customize and Control button near the top right of the Chrome window and select Settings and then scroll down and click on Clear Browsing Data.
- Select the following:
- Browsing history
- Download history
- Cookies and other site and plug-in data
- Cached images and files
- From the Clear the following items from: drop-down menu, you can choose the period of time for which you want to clear cached information. To clear your entire cache, select the beginning of time.
- Click Clear browsing data.
- Exit/quit all browser windows and re-open the browser.
Firefox
- From the History menu, select Clear Recent History. If the menu bar is hidden, press Alt to make it visible.
- From the Time range to clear: drop-down menu, select the desired range; to clear your entire cache, select Everything.
- Next to "Details", click the down arrow to choose which elements of the history to clear; to clear your entire cache, select all items.
- Click Clear Now.
- Exit/quit all browser windows and re-open the browser.
Microsoft Edge
- In the top right, click the Hub icon (looks like three horizontal lines).
- Click the History icon, and then select Clear all history.
- Select Browsing history, then Cookies and saved website data, and then Cached data and files. Click Clear.
- After the "All Clear!" message appears, exit/quit all browser windows and re-open the browser.
Internet Explorer 9 and higher
Note: As of January 12, 2016, Microsoft has ended support for Internet Explorer versions prior to version 11. We strongly recommend that you upgrade to the most up to date Internet Explorer version.
- Select Tools (via the Gear Icon) > Safety > Delete browsing history
- If the menu bar is hidden, press Alt to make it visible.
- Deselect Preserve Favorites website data, and select:
- Temporary Internet files or Temporary Internet files and website files
- Cookies or Cookies and website data
- History
- Click Delete. You will see a confirmation at the bottom of the window when the process is complete.
- Exit/quit all browser windows and re-open the browser.
Opera
- From the Opera menu, select Settings, and then Delete Private Data.
- In the dialog box that opens, select the items you want to clear, and then click Delete.
- Exit/quit all browser windows and re-open the browser.
Safari
Safari 8
- From the Safari menu, select Clear History and Website Data.
- Select the desired time range, and then click Clear History.
- Go to Safari > Quit Safari or press Command-Q to exit the browser completely.
Safari 7 and below
- From the Safari menu, select Reset Safari....
- Select the items you want to reset, and then click Reset. As of Safari 5.1, Remove all website data includes both cookies and cache.
- Go to Safari > Quit Safari or press Command-Q to exit the browser completely.

3. Click to setup your Bank Mobile Profile.
KCTCS has partnered with BankMobile Disbursements to process student refund payments. Students are required to choose from one of the following three options for receiving refunds due to them:
1. ACH transfer to a bank account of their choice,
2. Refund to a BankMobile Vibe account.
Refunds are processed every Thursday. Check your refund preference by logging into your Bank Mobile account at www.VibeAccount.com.

Bursar's Office FAQs
The NBS Payment plan is an easy affordable way to pay tuition and is set-up ONLINE through the student self-service (PeopleSoft) account. Please ensure your pop-up blockers are turned off before beginning this process.
Refunds will process through Bank Mobile every Thursday. Check your refund selection preference by logging into your Bank Mobile account at www.vibeaccount.com, or by calling Bank Mobile at 1-866-629-4368.
The Financial Aid Office generally disburses aid once a week (usually over the weekend) to your student account. This process will begin after the Financial Aid Census date for each semester. Check your student account in PeopleSoft to see if your financial aid has posted. Disbursed financial aid that is more than your tuition/fee charges and any allowable bookstore charges is considered a refund.

Refunds are based on the drop/withdrawal date and corresponding academic calendar, please check the teaching college’s academic calendar before dropping/withdrawing from a course.
Third Party Payers include: employer, vocational rehabilitation, UPS, Amazon, Kentucky Affordable Prepaid Tuition (KAPT), 529 Plans, or any other 3rd party, documentation/voucher must be submitted to the Bursar’s Office every semester by the payment deadline. Any out-of-pocket expense above 3rd party coverage must be paid by the payment deadline.
After logging into Self-Service, you can access and print your 1098-T.
From the Student Homepage:
1. Click on the Fin. Aid & Account Balance tile.
2. Your Financial Account Balance information displays. On the left hand Menu, click on View 1098-T.
3. The 1098-T Report Selection box displays. Click the Tax Year you wish to view. A PDF of the 1098-T will display. View the 1098-T. Print a copy by selecting the Printer icon in the upper right hand corner.
Note: If the 1098-T does not display, ensure that a pop-up blocker is not preventing the PDF from displaying.
4. When finished viewing, close the PDF tab that opened in your web browser.
5. Click the Home icon to return to the Student Homepage.
For students that need computer access to complete Self-Service items, please visit one of our open labs.
Please note: that there will not be a Bursar's Office employee at the open labs to assist you. If you need a person to assist you, please visit one of the Bursar Office locations.
