
KCTCS Refund Program
When will I receive my refund/residual check?
KCTCS delivers your refund with BankMobile Disbursements, a technology solution, powered by BMTX, Inc.

Refunds are processed every Thursday.

- From the BCTC Home Page, select "MyPath", then "Student Self-service", click on the "Fin. Aid & Account Balance" tile.
- From the menu on the left, click on the Select Refund Preference.
- This will route you to Bak Mobile's Refund Selection webpage.
- New Student(s) will see a welcome page and need to create and set up profile for the first time by clicking on the "Click to set up your profile" link.
- Complete the requested information on Step two of five. (advisable to provide KCTCS email to create profile for log in)
- Click on both links respectively to review and accept "Refund Legal Disclosure" and "E-sign Disclosure". Once accepted, check mark will appear beside both links and submit button will be highlighted to click.
- Then, click Submit button.
- Provide Cell phone number to receive confirmation code for security verification and click Submit. (If Cell phone number is Not Provided, Paper Check is the only option available to receive a refund)
- Enter Security code sent via text and click submit.
- Click next on Step three of five you will be taken to the page where it asks for personal a code. DO NOTHING for personal code and click on Log in with email and password created on top right corner of the page.
- Security code will be sent to cell phone number provided. Enter Security Code and click Submit.
- Set up security Questions and Answers and Click Save and Finish. (it is the student’s responsibility to remember or write down this information where it is easily available to them when needed)
- Verify Contact information and click Submit.
- Select one of the three refund preferences:
- Direct Deposit to Existing Bank Account
- Open Vibe Account with Bank Mobile (students will be mailed Debit Card from Bank Mobile with this preference)
- Paper Check delivered (Paper check will be delivered to the address on file with BCTC & Bank Mobile. It is the student’s responsibility to update address, if needed, with BCTC).
