Payment Plan

Bluegrass Community & Technical College (BCTC) has partnered with Nelnet Business Solutions (NBS) to offer an online payment plan as a convenient way to help you meet your educational expenses. NBS provides you with a low cost option for budgeting tuition and other educational expenses. It is not a loan program. You have no debt, there are no interest or finance charges assessed, and there is no credit check. Please see below for steps to enroll in the NBS online payment plan.

It's Easy to Enroll:

  1. Disable pop-up blockers!
  2. Login to Student Self Service
  3. Click the Account Balance tile
  4. Click on Make a Payment
  5. Select Setup Official Payment Plan from the drop down menu then click Confirm
  6. From this point, the student will Create an Account with NBS. The payment plan is not complete until the student reads and accepts the Terms & Conditions, clicks the Authorize button, and receives confirmation.

Cost to Participate

A $25 nonrefundable enrollment fee will be charged per semester.

A $30 returned payment fee will be assessed if a payment is returned to Nelnet Business Solutions.

*Students who do not have an approved payment arrangement on or before the college's required payment date are subject to having their registration canceled for non-payment. Consult your local college business office for college-specific required payment dates, or refer to the appropriate academic calendar.

Note: Enrollment fee & down payments are processed immediately and scheduled monthly payments are processed on the 20th of each month.

You may budget your tuition and fees one of two ways:

  • Automatic Bank Payment (ACH) - ACH payments are payments that you authorize NBS to process directly with your financial institution. It is simply a bank-to-bank transfer of funds that you have pre-approved for your expenses at Bluegrass Community & Technical College. Payments may be made from either your checking or savings account. Payments are processed on the 20th of each month.

  • Debit or Credit Card Option - If you elect to use this option, your monthly payment will be automatically charged to the debit/credit card you designate on the 20th of each month. This option may enable you to take advantage of various bonus programs offered by your credit card company.

*Please Note:

  • Payment plans must be completed each and every semester.
  • To make changes to your address, phone, or banking information call NBS at 1 (800) 609-8056.
  • If the 20th of the month falls on a weekend or holiday, payment will process on the following business day.
