Brief Job Description
The Campus Navigators are part of the Office of Public Relations, Marketing, and Admissions team, serving as a welcoming and knowledgeable student voice for prospective BCTC students. This student worker position focuses on providing exceptional customer service and on-campus experiences to prospective students, families, school groups, and community partners visiting campus. Campus Navigators assist in the Visitor Center and support a variety of recruitment events throughout the year, primarily with regular campus tours, large-group campus visits, and other on-campus recruitment events, ensuring that all prospective guests feel informed, supported, and excited about what BCTC has to offer.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a positive representative of BCTC by sharing personal experiences and insights with prospective students
- Greet and assist prospective students, families, and school groups as they arrive for campus visits
- Check-in tour guests and provide pre-tour information and materials
- Conduct tours with support from an Admissions Counselor
- Help with setup, check-in, or other roles for on-campus recruitment events (e.g., open houses, preview days)
- Submit prospective student information collected at recruitment events
- Provide support to Admissions staff with administrative tasks as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Available to work during some weekday tour times (currently 10:00am and 2:00pm, M-F) and occasional weekends or evenings (with advanced notice) for special events

Brief Job Description
The Campus Student Assistant will provide support to the campus in various tasks, including but not limited to, assisting the campus faculty, staff, and students with clerical and classroom support, support for events, visits, and tours, technical support for users of technology, capturing photos and video for the campus, research and data entry, and with recruiting. This position will be located in the faculty office area.

Brief Job Description

Ensuring students check-in on the kiosk when entering the Open Lab. Answering basic computer questions, aiding students in setting up accounts & resetting passwords, counting students in the lab, directing students to specific computer programs, adding paper to printers, minor cleaning & sanitizing, etc. Some training will be provided.

Brief Job Description
The students will be responsible to offer support by connecting students to campus resources, work office hours in 103A, also work partial hours at the Reception Desk in CB 103, and any clerical or administrative support to this office. The student will assist once a month when the Fayette County Health Department is on campus for HIV Testing in organizing the student sign up sheet. Assist with any set up for events hosted out of this office such as a conference.
